Best known as founder and leader of Psychobilly legends The Meteors, International Super Bastard shows that Fenech has more strings to his bow than simply being the master of Pure Psychobilly.
The diversity that his solo albums allow him to show suggests that there is a wider potential audience than just Psychobilly enthusiasts.
Fenech's songwriting and guitar playing abilities don't need to be discussed here (you'll find this in a million other reviews of his work) other than to note that his the standard is maintained.
The key to this release is it's variety which cover's vast territory of Fenech's musical universe, with heaps of Rockabilly, splashes of Surf, twangs of Country and bucket-loads of Rock 'n' Roll.
But no matter how far Fenech strays from the archetypal Meteors sound, his music remains evil to the core.
