He was already a well-known session drummer by the time he reached his late teens, and his first solo record Teen Beat became a million-selling worldwide hit in 1959.
In 1961 he scored an even bigger international hit with Let There Be Drums which span off a million-selling LP of the same title.
This CD collection gathers Sandy Nelson's first seven singles, plus the entire contents of his first three LPs.
