American Blues and Boogie-Woogie pianist Gene Taylor began his career around the age of 16, working with some of the biggest names in the West Coast Blues scene including Big Joe Turner and T- Bone Walker.
In 1981 he joined The Blasters, recording four critically-acclaimed albums for Warner Brothers.
From 1993 to 2007 Taylor played with The Fabulous Thunderbirds along with various other projects.
