Gene Taylor is an American Boogie and Blues pianist who delivers his rockin' music in genuine good time New Orleans style.
As a teenager he worked with legends such as Big Joe Turner and T-Bone Walker, but is perhaps best know for playing piano for The Blasters in the 1980s, the Fabulous Thunderbirds in the '90s, whilst also having time to be part of Rick Nelson's touring band.
He cut his first solo album in 1986, and this superb new album Roadhouse Memories is a fantastic example of his Rockin' Boogie style.
