There's an impressive depth to this collection, with the two discs containing all the tracks from four complete early Ventures albums: Walk Don't Run (1960), The Ventures (1961), Another Smash (1961) and The Colorful Ventures (1961). Alongside the familiar favourites are plenty of atmospheric instrumentals and unexpected twists on standards, from Blue Moon, Lullaby Of The Leaves and Harlem Nocturne to Rawhide, Hawaiian War Chant, Greenfields and Beyond The Reef.
