Few British vocal groups had a greater influence on the early years of UK Pop than The Vernons Girls. Discovered by legendary television producer Jack Good for his groundbreaking music shows Oh Boy! and Boy Meets Girls, they began life as a sixteen-piece vocal ensemble before evolving into a streamlined trio as the 1960s dawned. Along the way they became one of Britain's most recognisable female harmony groups, while also launching the careers of numerous singers who would go on to enjoy success in their own right.
