The Up South Twisters are a New York-based band known for playing "greasy" Southern-fried blues, roots rock, and zydeco-influenced music.
Formerly known as Lucky 7, they are a group of seasoned musicians who released this self-titled album in 2008.
This 13-track CD features 12 original songs with a sound defined by a mix of accordion, electric and acoustic guitars, upright bass, and percussion.
The band's style has been described by as "Americana with a roots rockin' edge, incorporating Cajun, roadhouse blues and Tex-Mex grooves".
