Billy Fury - The Decca A's and B's 1959-'66 2CD

A superb 2CD collection bringing together all the 45s that Billy Fury released on Decca from 1959 through to 1966, presented in chronological order across an impressive 62 tracks. One of the biggest and most popular British Rock 'n' Roll stars, Fury's recordings capture his development from teenage Rock 'n' Roller into one of Britain's biggest stars.

Originally from Liverpool, Ronald Wycherley was given his stage name by legendary manager Larry Parnes and quickly established himself as a major star. Unlike many of his contemporaries, Fury was also a prolific songwriter, while his superb live performances helped establish his reputation. His chart career really took off with Halfway To Paradise, followed by a run of major UK hits including Jealousy, I'd Never Find Another You, Last Night Was Made For Love and Once Upon A Dream.

This extensive collection follows Fury's career as the British music scene changed dramatically. With 62 tracks, digital remastering, new notes and slipcase packaging, The Decca A's And B's 1959-'66 is an essential collection of one of Britain's greatest rock 'n' roll stars.
