The 107 Tapes brings together the raw early recordings and live performances of garage rock legends Thee Milkshakes, presenting 27 tracks across two LPs. The first record collects early demos recorded at 107 Rochester Street in Chatham, Kent, on 3 July 1981, capturing the band in their formative days with the primitive, stripped-back energy that became their trademark.
The second record heads to Germany for two live performances from April 1983, with six tracks recorded in Reutlingen on 15 April and a further eight recorded in Basle on 20 April. Let's Stomp, Eaten More Honey, Little Queenie, Jaguar, Black Sails (In The Moonlight) and Monkey Business capture Thee Milkshakes in full flight, while the set closes with Let Me Love You, El Salvador and Boys.
