Some ten years since their first album Just In Time, The Due Tones follow-up with Take A Trip. The sound is heavier and more powerful than it's authentic Rockabilly/desperate Rock 'n' Roll style predecessor, with power-guitar Rockabilly (think Reverend Horton Heat) and Rootsy Bluesabilly (The Paladins) influences blended in with the 1950s basics. Most songs here are written by the band, with a couple of cover songs that you'll recognise instantly. The Due-tones have remained a popular fixture on the live Rockabilly scene, and this second album will be welcomed by their long-time followers and will gain them new fans too.
