Steppin' Out is a superb 94-track, 3CD collection documenting the earliest examples of the raw and exciting 1960s music that would later become known as Garage Punk. Covering the crucial years 1963-1965, this enormous set captures the moment when Garage Rock was beginning to emerge from a wild mixture of Surf, Rock 'n' Roll, Frat Rock, R&B and primitive teenage beat music, before exploding into its own distinctive sound in 1965.
