A superb vinyl release from popular rockin' rhythm & blues band Roy Thompson & The Mellow Kings.
After spending several years spent in Canada where in 2003 he set up a band called Roy Thompson & His Royal Acadians, Roy decided to head back to Europe.
In 2010 he formed his new line-up, with the new name The Mellow Kings.

Their style is heading from an 1950s Rhythm & Blues to a late '50s and early 60s Rockin' Blues with a sizzlin' guitar.
Their influences in music are cover a wide range of Blues, Rhythm & Blues, Swing and Rock 'n' Roll, including artists such as Ike Turner, Ray Charles, T-Bone Walker, Freddie King and many others.
