An usual but enjoyable 5-piece band, The Severed Limb play a quirky mix of Rockabilly, Cajun and Skiffle, with accordion and washboard in the line-up alongside the usual rockin' instrumentation.
The songs often take dark themes, but they are delivered with a sense of fun as well as being very well performed. Despite the name of both the band and the album, this is not a Psychobilly album, although the subject matter will appeal to the genre's fans. This is something a little different, but totally rockin', for when you want to diversify from songs about girls, cars and boppin' all night.
