Mickey Jupp emerged from the 1960s Southend scene and his songs have charted as cover versions by Dave Edmunds, Dr Feelgood, Nick Lowe and others.
In 1978 Stiff Records brought him back to prominence.
Long Distance Romancer features the single You Made A Fool Out Of Me, along with fan favourites Switchboard Susan’ and You Know What I Mean (later covered by Rick Nelson).
Bonus track is the rare non-album single Rooms In Your Roof.
