Warrior is the first solo release of Rhumba Kings front-man and well-known rockin' session musician/singer/song-writer Mark Sprex - recorded at P.Paul Fenech's El Rancho Loco studios in Milan, Italy. All except for one songs are original Mark Sprex compositions - and then there is a cover of the very early Meteors' song Crazy Lovin', originally recorded over 40 years ago for the Alligator Records compilation album Home Grown Rockabilly. Paul Fenech also features on 2 of the songs as lead guitarist. Sprex' aggressive vocal style hits back hard with this well-produced mix of hard neo-rockabilly and kick ass rock 'n' roll twang. If you love old-school British neo-rockabilly, are a fan of The Rhumba Kings and The Meteors, then this release is most definately for you!
