The Buddy Holly of Garage Punk. Swiss Rockabilly and Garage Punk musician Simon Langhard steps out from behind the upright bass for this superb 7-inch vinyl single, featuring Last Day from his forthcoming solo album Alone, backed with the previously unreleased Big Laughing, Hooray.

Best known as the upright bass player with Swiss Punk-Rockabilly trio The Peacocks, Langhard brings together the melodic instincts of 1950s Rock 'n' Roll with the raw energy of Garage Punk. Last Day showcases the songwriting side of a musician whose work with The Peacocks has made him a familiar name on the European Rockabilly and Psychobilly scene.

The B-side, Big Laughing, Hooray, gives this limited 7-inch release an extra reason to own the single rather than simply buying the album. A great little introduction to Simon Langhard's solo work and an essential addition for fans of modern Rockabilly, Garage Punk and The Peacocks.
