It's the work of a razor-sharp trio who clearly know their Rock 'n' Roll history but aren't interested in simply standing still and looking backwards.
Johnny Knife is the alter ego of John Sindre Lynhaug, best known as a member of Teddyboy Rockers Rebels Revenge. For this project he is joined by Christian Hochmuth of The Town Rebels and Sven Schürmann of The Foggy Mountain Rockers, bringing together three musicians with deep roots in the European Teddyboy and Rockabilly scene.
The album gets straight down to business with Are You A Ted?, followed by the driving Piccadilly Panic, Blue Too, Arrow and Ponytail. Elsewhere you'll find the atmospheric At The 2I's, the wonderfully titled One Beetle Crusher One Blue Suede Shoe, Shakin' All Over Again, Diamonds Of Glass and the melodic Keep On Loving You Baby.
