Here Comes Cessation is another essential blast of raw, primitive Garage Rock from Thee Headcoatees, featuring Holly Golightly, Kyra LaRubia and Ludella Black. Produced by Billy Childish, the album delivers the stripped-down guitars, pounding rhythms and infectious melodies that made Thee Headcoatees such a vital part of the Medway Garage scene.

Billy Childish wrote 10 of the album's 12 tracks, including You Say That You Love Me, All Night Long, Hurt Me, An Image Of You, Help Out and the title track. The album also features two Bo Diddley compositions, Road Runner and Keep Your Big Mouth Shut, given the Headcoatees' own wonderfully rough-edged treatment. With the vocals shared between Holly, Kyra and Ludella, the set has plenty of variety while retaining its consistently primitive Garage Rock attack.

Originally released in 1999 and reissued on vinyl in 2008, Here Comes Cessation is presented here as a red vinyl LP. From the catchy True To You to the tougher You're Gonna Get What's Coming and I Want It, this is Thee Headcoatees doing what they did best: lean, infectious and gloriously unpolished Garage Rock with Billy Childish's fingerprints all over it.
