Here Comes Cessation is another essential blast of raw, primitive Garage Rock from Thee Headcoatees, featuring Holly Golightly, Kyra LaRubia and Ludella Black. Produced by Billy Childish, the album delivers the stripped-down guitars, pounding rhythms and infectious melodies that defined the Headcoatees' distinctive contribution to the Medway Garage scene.

The album opens with You Say That You Love Me, before moving through All Night Long, Hurt Me, An Image Of You and Help Out. The set also features two tracks originally written by Bo Diddley, with the Headcoatees putting their own primitive spin on Road Runner and Keep Your Big Mouth Shut. The title track, Here Comes Cessation, sits alongside Is There Any Chance Of You Coming Into My Life?, You're Gonna Get What's Coming, True To You and I Want It.

Billy Childish wrote 10 of the album's 12 tracks, giving Here Comes Cessation a remarkably coherent sound despite the three vocalists sharing the material. Originally issued in 1999 and reissued on CD as part of The Headcoatees Collection, this is a compact, rough-edged set that gets straight to the heart of the band's infectious Garage Rock attack.
