Thee Headcoats get the deluxe box-set treatment with Head Box, a four-CD collection bringing together four albums from the band's classic early period. Featuring Headcoats Down!, The Kids Are All Square – This Is Hip!, Headcoatitude and Bo In Thee Garage, the set captures their raw blend of Garage Rock, Punk and Rhythm & Blues across 49 tracks.

The collection opens with Headcoats Down!, originally recorded in 1989, followed by 1990's The Kids Are All Square – This Is Hip!, which features The Headcoatees and includes such memorable cuts as I'm A Gamekeeper, Davey Crockett (Gabba Hey!), Monkey's Paw and Cowboys Are Square. Headcoatitude continues the run with twelve more Billy Childish originals, including My Dear Watson, Hog's Jaw, Headcoatitude and I Don't Like You.

The fourth album, Bo In Thee Garage, takes a slightly different route, presenting a thirteen-track live-in-mono set under the W.O.A.H. (Thee Worshipful Order Of Ancient Headcoats) name. Built around songs by Bo Diddley and other Rhythm & Blues favourites, it includes Road Runner, Crackin' Up, Who Do You Love?, Diddy Wah Diddy and Before You Accuse Me.

With Billy Childish handling vocals, guitar and songwriting across much of the material, Head Box is a substantial collection of Thee Headcoats' rough-edged Garage sound. The four albums come housed in individually designed card sleeves inside a clamshell box, complete with a 12-page booklet.
