The Grizzly Family play a powerful and lively mix of red hot Rockabilly and twangin' Hillbilly - and you'll also find a little bit of Cajun, Skiffle and Blues in there too. This first full-length album is varied and rich with different instrumentation, with Piano, Lap-Steel and Mandolin complimenting the traditional Rockabilly line-up on different songs. The arrangements to the cover songs are often unique to the Grizzly Family, and the original material is strong and well performed too. Some people may recognize slap-bass player Mickey from his days with The Happy Drivers.
