This 20-track set contains 19 tracks previously unavailable, with only 1982 - Make A Wish having been released before, making it an essential collection of rare and unreleased material from the eccentric Edinburgh New Wave outfit.
There's plenty of variety across the album, from the punchy studio recordings of Sputnik Kiss, Superville, Jack The Ripper and The Last One To Know through to demo versions of Motorbike Beat, No Such Luck and Where's The Boy For Me?. The live tracks turn up the energy further, with Snatzomobile, Motorbike Beat, Mind Bending Cutie Doll, Boys and Wipeout capturing the band in full flight.
With Eugene Reynolds and Fay Fife on vocals, Rocky Rhythm on drums and an extended cast of Revillos and Revettes contributing across the recordings, From The Freezer offers a fascinating glimpse into the band's musical world.
