Too Hot To Handle CD

The Firebirds • Too Hot To Handle CD

Too Hot To Handle is the second album from The Firebirds, delivering 20 rockin' and rollin' tracks from one of the UK's finest exponents of the classic Rock 'n' Roll and Rockabilly sound. The majority of the material is written by the band themselves, demonstrating their considerable songwriting ability alongside their love of the golden age of Rock 'n' Roll.

From the opening Rockabilly Man through Make Up Your Mind, Rock 'n' Roll Party, Rockin' All Night and '59 Ford, the album is packed with driving rhythms, catchy melodies and plenty of vintage Rock 'n' Roll energy. The set also includes versions of songs associated with Gene Vincent, Ray Campi and Dion, adding some well-chosen classics to the band's own material.

Originally issued on Pollytone and reissued by Rockville Records in 2018, Too Hot To Handle is a substantial 20-track collection that showcases The Firebirds' blend of Rockabilly, Rock 'n' Roll and Doo Wop, from the punchy Baby Blues and Two Timin' Lover to the title track that brings the album to a suitably hot conclusion.
