Travellin' Heavy CD

The Doel Brothers • Travellin' Heavy With The Doel Brothers CD

In case you've worn out your copy of their first platter, here come the sensational Doel Brothers with a brand new batch of their extra-fine, moonshine-powered music. Travellin' Heavy With The Doel Brothers finds Tommy, Gordon and David Doel, joined by Steve Whitworth on bass and Phil Morgan on steel guitar, delivering a whole disc of pure, unadulterated, custom-made Doel Brothers original material. It's Rockabilly with plenty of Hillbilly character, country swing and the unmistakable Doel Brothers touch.

From Wild Wild Woman, Troubles and Liquid Lover through to Side Step Round The Blues, You Ain't A Woman and What Ya Wanna Do That For?, the album rolls along with the easy-going momentum of a well-tuned jalopy. Who Needs You, Does It Feel Good?, Oh Boy and Huntin' Honey keep the Rockabilly and Honky Tonk spirit firmly in place, while Gone But Not Forgotten brings the main album to a close with an alternate version also included in the tracklisting.

Originally released in 2015, Travellin' Heavy With The Doel Brothers is a great choice for anyone who likes their Rockabilly, Hillbilly and Honky Tonk with plenty of character and a healthy dose of original songwriting. The Doel Brothers stomp it, swing it and honky-tonk it all the way through this 12-track set. Come along for the ride!
