There's A Bottle On The Table is the fourth album from the Doel Brothers, and if the band are to be believed, their best one so far! Once again they deliver their distinctive blend of Rockabilly, Hillbilly and Western Swing, adding just the right touch of harmony to create a sound that is unmistakably their own. The album features mostly original material alongside three covers, with a bonus track dedicated to the brothers' father.

The title track gets things underway before Beer Bucket Boogie sets the tone, with original Doel Brothers songs including Love Letter, Welcome To My Heart, Just Say You Don't Know, Jealousy, New England In The Fall and Country Bum. The covers bring some familiar songwriting into the mix, with Charlie Rich's Thanks A Lot, Carl Smith and Floyd Wilson's Baby I'm Ready and Dwight Yoakam's Distance Between You And Me sitting alongside the band's own material. Viva Las Vegas, written by Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman, adds another classic, while How High The Moon appears as a bonus track in memory of the Doel Brothers' father.
