Firefly is the second album from Delta 88, the fantastic UK trio who combine primitive '50s Rockin' beats with a contemporary edge. The result is a catchy, highly danceable style of modern Rockabilly that sounds firmly rooted in the past without simply trying to recreate it.
Fourteen tracks deliver plenty of character, with titles such as Cherry Pie Until I Die, I Fell In Love On The Wall Of Death, Damsel In Distress, High Heeled Boots and Massachusetts Firefly. The band's knack for memorable songs continues through Rockin' On A Sunny Afternoon, Panther In The Night and Return Of The Girl With A Ray Gun, while Gonna Get Me A Motorcycle provides another irresistible dose of rockin' attitude.
14 tracks of catchy, danceable British Rockabilly from one of the UK's most distinctive modern Rockabilly trios. Originally released in 2019, Firefly is packed with infectious rhythms, memorable songs and enough '50s-inspired energy to keep the dancefloor moving.
