Wild 'n' Crazy Rebel Rockabilly from Crazy Cavan & The Rhythm Rockers, with the legendary Welsh Rocker delivering another set packed with their trademark blend of Rock 'n' Roll, Rockabilly and Teddyboy attitude. Rhythm Rockin' Blues also features a superb guest appearance from Linda Gail Lewis, whose pumpin' piano adds an extra shot of energy to this already rockin' collection.
The album gets off to a flying start with Rockin' Rhythm Blues and They Raided The Joint, before heading through a wonderfully varied selection of Crazy Cavan originals and carefully chosen covers. Frankie Got A Quiff, Crazy Love, I Go Ape and Somebody's Stealing My Baby all have that unmistakable Crazy Cavan character, while Wolverton Mountain and Lizzy Beth add some country flavour to the mix.
And then there's Teddyboy Flick Knife Rock 'n' Roll and the gloriously titled Gamblin' Ballroom Blues, which give you a pretty good idea of where Crazy Cavan's heart lies. With Linda Gail Lewis adding her distinctive piano to the proceedings, this is a particularly lively album from one of the most important names in the British Rockabilly and Teddyboy scene.
For fans of Crazy Cavan, classic British Rockabilly and wild Rock 'n' Roll with plenty of personality, Rhythm Rockin' Blues is a superb addition to the collection.
