The Sharks returned to their classic line-up for Colour My Flesh, a killer collection of psychobilly and rockabilly featuring Alan Wilson on guitar and vocals, Steve Whitehouse on double bass and vocals, and Hodge on drums. Originally released on CD in the 1990s, this nine-track album was reissued in 2022 as a limited-edition red-vinyl 10-inch mini-LP.
The album delivers the band's distinctive combination of driving rhythms, sharp guitar work and dark-edged rockin' energy. From the title track and “Grave Robber” to “Desire Calls”, “Time Bomb” and “Man With The X-Ray Eyes”, the set showcases the sound that established The Sharks as a respected name in the psychobilly scene.
This coloured-vinyl edition is an appealing addition for long-time Sharks fans and collectors of classic British psychobilly. With nine tracks from the band's celebrated line-up and a striking red pressing, Colour My Flesh brings a key release from their catalogue to the 10-inch format.
