Step into the smoky atmosphere of San Francisco’s legendary Bimbo’s 365 Club with Chris Isaak performing live in 1995. Blue Hotel 1995 captures the singer and guitarist delivering a 13-track set blending rock ’n’ roll roots, brooding pop and atmospheric rock, pressed on limited-edition transparent blue 180-gram vinyl.
The set features some of Isaak’s best-loved songs, including “Blue Hotel”, “Wicked Game”, “Somebody’s Crying” and “Baby Did A Bad Bad Thing”, alongside “You Owe Me Some Kind Of Love”, “Two Hearts” and “Forever Blue”. His deep, expressive vocals and echo-rich guitar style draw on the timeless sounds of Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison, while giving the songs a distinctive, cinematic mood.
A striking coloured-vinyl edition for Chris Isaak fans and collectors of live rock and pop recordings. With its San Francisco club setting, broadcast-recording origins and selection of signature songs, this LP offers a different way to enjoy the music of one of modern rock ’n’ roll’s most distinctive performers.
