The A-side California is backed by Run Run Away, with La La Brooks appearing on both tracks. Written by Flávia Couri, Martin Couri and Søren Christensen, the single was recorded at StarrSound Studios in Denmark and produced by Søren Christensen and C.T. Levine.
Pressed on red vinyl, California is a great little coupling of high-energy Garage Rock from The Fabulous Courettes, with the guest appearance from La La Brooks making it an especially interesting addition to their catalogue.
