The Bullets return with their third album, Somethin' Real Good, delivering a full-blooded dose of British rockabilly from the London trio. Featuring Brett Waters on vocals and guitar, Gary Griffin on drums and Darren Richards on upright bass, the album brings together 15 original songs packed into a punchy 38-minute set.
Every track is written by the band, giving this collection its own identity across a varied selection of rockabilly numbers, from the swagger of “Chilli Dog Boogie” and “Ten Pints Of Whiskey” to the darker storytelling of “Dead Man's Hand” and “The Tomb Of Your Cold Heart”. The title track, “Coyote On The Prowl” and “That's Wild” add further highlights to a set built around the band's own songwriting rather than a collection of familiar covers.
For fans of contemporary rockabilly, this is a chance to catch The Bullets doing what they do best: delivering original songs with a solid rock'n'roll pulse and plenty of attitude.
