Celebrate forty years of rock 'n' roll history with Carl Perkins and friends on Blue Suede Shoes - A Rockabilly Session, a special anniversary edition pressed on yellow vinyl. Originally recorded live at London's Limehouse Studios in October 1985 and broadcast on television in 1986, this remarkable performance brings the legendary songwriter and guitarist together with an all-star cast of musicians whose own careers were shaped by his pioneering rockabilly sound.

Produced by Dave Edmunds, the session features Edmunds, Roseanne Cash, George Harrison, and Lee Rocker & Slim Jim Phantom of the Stray Cats alongside other distinguished guests. Perkins performs “Everybody's Trying To Be My Baby”, “Glad All Over”, “Matchbox” and many more of his rockabilly classics on this celebration of the one of the most important figures in early rock 'n' roll.

From “Boppin' The Blues” and “Honey Don't” to the closing performance of “Blue Suede Shoes”, this sixteen-track selection captures the enduring spirit of a rockabilly pioneer surrounded by generations of musical admirers. The yellow-vinyl anniversary pressing makes a striking addition to any collection, whether you're a lifelong Carl Perkins fan, a rockabilly enthusiast or a collector drawn to this extraordinary meeting of rock 'n' roll legends.
