This DVD series presents Country Music shows filmed for US military television networks, produced in Nashville under the supervision of legendary producer Owen Bradley.

Although there was mandatory two-year military service throughout the 1950s and early 1960s. The U.S. armed forces still felt the need to recruit career soldiers.
To that end, they hired the services of a man named Charlie Brown to produce recruiting programs.
That appeared first on radio and then on television.
Dubbed "Country Style USA" the shows used the top Country recording stars of the day who would sing a few songs, and then break for an officer to make a pitch for a military career.
In 1957, the concept was expanded from radio to television, and the TV recruiting shows ran until 1961.
Today, they provide one of the very few visual records of 1950s country music stars in their prime.
Unseen for decades, these films capture the all-time greatest Country stars of the day singing their greatest hits.
