Whole Lotta Shakin' + On Top CD
Carl Perkins 1960s recordings are often overlooked in favour of his 1950s Sun Records Rockabilly classics.
Perkins remained true to his Rockabilly roots throughout his career, cutting some fine material right through to his death in 1998.
His 1964 UK Tour saw him greeted as a Rock 'n' Roll hero, playing to sold out houses and being lauded by a young group called the Beatles who played and recorded a number of his songs.
This release couples his 1968 album Whole Lotta Shakin' and On Top from 1969.
