Tommy Hunt's extraordinary career dates back to the 1050s, during which he was a member of legendary doowop grout The Flamingos, singing on some of their best-known records.
In 1961 he quit to go solo, registering a huge Rhythm & Blues hit with his very first 45, Human, and cutting the original version of I Just Don’t Know What To Do With Myself.
He later moved to Europe where he became a Northern Soul legend, and he spent much of his life based in the UK, appearing European Rock 'n' Roll/Doo Wop festivals and Soul weekenders.
Tommy has been inducted into the Vocal Group Hall Of Fame, the Doo Wop Hall Of Fame and the Rock 'n' Roll Hall Of Fame, and was still occasionally performing into his very late eighties.
This magnicent 29 track collection on original recordings takes us back to his early days, as part of The Flamingos and The Five Echoes, and on to his ealiest solo work.
