In the late 1980s, it seemed like every town had a rockabilly or psychobilly band, such was the strength of the scene back then.
In Loughborough, The Cliffhangers were regularly rockin' around the town, and occasionally venturing beyond.
The Cliffhangers were a trio of Simon Garton on vocals and upright bass, Ken Harris on guitar and Sara Sharman on drums.
As the decade ended, so did The Cliffhangers, but Simon and Ken expanded to a four-piece under the name The Cosmic Cruisers.
In their lifetime The Cliffhangers recorded output was limited to a couple of compilation appearances, notably included the famous "Psycho Attack Over Europe! series, but they actually recorded several more lively Neo-Rockabilly originals.
This 20 track limited edition LP sees much of this material issued for the first time, presenting The Cliffhangers/Cosmic Cruisers story from 1987 to 1991.
