Sons Of Rockabilly CD
As a group, and individually, the four members of Shotgun have shared stages with the biggest names in Rock 'n' Roll from Chuck Berry to Jack Scott, from Charlie Gracie to Mac Curtis.
That wasn't the idea when they initially formed in the seventies - their aim was to keep 50s Rock 'n' Roll alive, playing in the pubs and clubs of their native South London.
When the seventies Rock 'n' Roll revival took place, Shotgun had already been doing it for some years.
They were well placed to be part of that explosion of renewed interest in Rockin' music, and the calls soon came in from all over the country, and all over Europe.
This legendary pump-loaded, beat-blasting, tear-it-up outfit have not stopped Rockin', nor have they stopped recording, and they remain one of Britain's wildest Rock 'n' Roll and Rockabilly bands.
They will go on to be remembered as one of the finest.
