The name Sam Phillips is synonymous with Sun Records, arguably the World's most infulential Independent record label. Phillips was responsible for discovering several of the musical giants of the 20th century including Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison, Howlin' Wolf and Carl Perkins. The 56 tracks on this double CD showcase the diversity of the Sun Records catalogue which changed the face of popular music in the 1950s.
