The Kingsmen 7" EP (vinyl)

The Kingsmen were none other than Bill Haley's Comets, and this 5 track yellow vinyl EP features all five known recordings of the band.

During one of Bill Haley & His Comets' early recording sessions for Decca Records the band gave birth to Rock Around The Clock, ABC Boogie and Happy Baby plus an instrumental that Decca refused to release because they didn't want an instrumental band.

So, the track Weekend was released instead under the name The Kingsmen on Atlantic Records' subsidiary label East-West Records.
