Volume 5 in the Bill Haley & Friends collection.
Brothers Tyrone and Al 'Dean' DeNittis! started playing as The Tyrones in Philadelphia in early 1956, and in 1958 they recorded at Bill Haley's Chester studio with the help of Franny Beecher, Rudy and Al Pompilli. In 1960 Al DeNittis joined Bill Haley's Comets as saxophonist for a South-America tour due to Rudy Pompilli being unavailable. They recorded six songs together in Peru's capital city Lima during that tour which remained unissued and can be heard for the first time on this CD. This piece of Rock 'n' Roll history presents the fantastic big beat sound of The Tyrones, with those Comets rarities from Peru included as bonus tracks.
