Prison Of Blues are from the town of tobacco manufacturers, Temanggung in Central Java.
They formed 2007, initially as a Punk band influenced by The Clash, Social Distortion, and The Ramones.
As the band members discovered psychobilly music through listening to Mad Sin, The Rezurex, The Nekromantix and The Meteors, Prison Of Blues replaced their electric bass with a double bass, and these four Indonesian punk rockers transformed into a psychobilly band.
