Well Allright CD
This fourth album from The Moonstompers again features mostly original material, although the title track Well Allright is the well-known Buddy Holly song.
This is one of three '50s covers that the trio take and make their own, giving a tougher version than the classic original.
They do a similar job on the Everly Brothers' Problems, an unusual choice of cover song that works well.
The only other cover here is 1950s Rockabilly obscurity Betcha Didn't Know, originally by Wayne Handy.
The remaining tracks are all Moonstompers originals, with plenty of tough Rockabilly sounds that remain traditional enough for '50s purists, but are delivered with enough power for those who like a harder rockin' sound.
Another fine release from this excellent Rockin' trio.
