Too Hot To Bop CD
Mike Fantom and the Bop-A-Tones are four rocking guys from Belgium who dig wild 1950s rock 'n' roll, Link Wray and the white label records - and that's what their sound is all about.
A few years ago Patrick Ouchene (wekk known from Runnin' Wild and The Dominos) joined his best friend Michel "Texas" to create a new band, dedicated to playing a unique and wild sound on stage.
Together they wrote a lot of scorching songs, all with great guitar riffs and amazing vocals.
They were soon joined by Pascal (ex-Be Bops) on drums and Bart (ex-Wild Deuces) on bull fiddle bass.
Since then they have been preforming all over Europe, and have now recorded their first album Too Hot To Bop.
This recording is a must for all wild rockabilly lovers.
It contains plenty of self written songs which certainly will become classics for today's hepcats, and the next generation of the rock 'n' roll scene.
This record has it all: instrumentals, guitar breaking riffs, breathless vocals, heavy slapping bass, jungle beat drumming.
Recorded like in the old days, this album is different, inspiring, and essential for lovers of 1950s style rockin' music.
