25 track collection on rarities and previously unissued materal from Lenny Lacour.
Born in Bayou Brevelle, Louisiana, Lacour Moved to Chicago in 1950 and from 1954-1958 scored several regional hits, including the rock 'n' roll single Rockin' Rosalie which was released on Academy Records in 1957.
LaCour also produced Eddy Bell & The Belairs' The Masked Man for Mercury Records.
In the late 1950s he released several singles under the alias The Big Rocker, his most popular being Rock 'n' Roll Romance.
He also acted as produced for several other groups.
LaCour went on to found his first label, the Chicago-based Lucky Four in 1960, where he served as songwriter, producer, and main artist.
In 1964 he briefly moved to Milwaukee and founded the labels, Busy Bee, Score Records, Magic Touch Records and Dynamic Sound before returning to Chicago at the end of the decade.
He was also known as "King Creole" which he claims was the inspiration for the Elvis Presley film of the same name.
