Jerry Fuller’s later successes as a songwriter were so spectacular that his early incarnation as a singer in the 1950s is rarely mentioned. Yet in the late 1950s and early '60s, whilst perfecting those songwriting skills, he cut a series of records that have more than stood the test of time, a couple of which entered the US charts. This collecion presents the Very Best of Jerry Fuller's own recording career, between 1958 and 1962, including his biggest hit, a rockin’ revival of Tennessee Waltz, which was a big seller in 1959. Several of these recordings are almost impossible to find elsewhere, with a number are making their CD debut.
