This CD presents the soundtrack for the legendary 1950s Rock 'n' Roll movie Jamboree - also known as Disc Jockey Jamboree.
There was never a commercially released soundtrack LP, but the producers did manufacture an LP used for promotional purposes only.
This CD release means that this collections is commercially available for the first time ever!
As a bonus, also included are several tracks from the soundtrack of the 1956 movie Rockin' The Blues.
Featured artists include Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Charlie Gracie, Lewis Lymon and The Teenchords, Jimmy Bowen, Buddy Knox, The Harptones, The Miller Sisters, Fats Domino and many others.
