First ever CD collection from one of the classic hillbilly vocal duos of the 1950s - George and Earl. 29 high class 1950s recordings featuring some of the very best musicians of the era.
Presented in a stylish digipack case, with a detailed 40-page booklet too.
This collection tells of two singers and musicians who came together for a two years to make some of the best and most interesting duet recordings of the 1950s, when the still-prevalent Hillbilly sound of Hank Williams was just beginning to give way to the newer upstart sounds of Rockabilly. In terms of commercial success they were overshadowed by the more mainstream Everly Brothers, but had a very different duet style which has endured just as long.
