First ever CD collection of Gene Davis who laid down some great boppin' hillbilly songs for King Records in the mid 1950s, before moving to California where he started playing Rockabilly.
Under the name of Bo Davis he recorded some great Rockabilly songs backed by the legendary Eddie Cochran.
More rockers like Curfew and No Rockin' and Rollin' followed and soon he was discovered by Buck Ram to appear with his band in movies like Carnival Rock and Rock All Night under the name of The Blockbusters.
This album includes all of his Rockabilly sides, some country boppers, appearances by Chuck Miles, Faron Young and The Collins Kids, and his biggest hit record Oh Those Texas Women.
