When Buddy Holly's plane crashed mid-tour in February 1959, Frankie Sardo was one of the artists brought in to replace the original stars.
His popularity grew and he scored a hit with Fake Out and went on to record many other popular tracks.
As well as Frankie's recordings, two tracks are included here where he shares the vocals with his brother Johnny, and Johnny's own rockin' recordings are featured too.
There is an accompanying booklet with detailed liner notes and rare photos.
