The Very Best Of The Domino's - formed in Belgium 1989 as a Rockabilly trio led by singer and guitarist Patrick Ouchene.
They were soon asked to record a full album for the Rockhouse label.
As time moved on, Patrick and the band drifted from straight ahead Rockabilly to a wider range of styles, mixing in Western Swing, Hillbilly and Rhythm and Blues.
Line up changes saw Jack Fire of The Wild Ones join them on double bass, and with Kasper Devos on lead guitar they recorded the album "Minor Things".
where the whole roots music palette was present - even a French language song Je Suis Swing which became a national hit in France and Belgium.
At this point the band's influences included Johnny Horton, Merle Travis, Ray Charles and the Rockabilly stars of the 1950s, and they played many Jazz, Blues and mainstream festivals all over Europe sharing the stages with household names, and making countless TV and radio appearances too.
After 10 exhausting years of playing relentlessly, they decided to stop and Patrick Ouchene returned to his original passion of Rockabilly music and formed the band Runnin' Wild.
